So last night I noticed a little swollen spot on the right side of my throat. Overnight it's made itself more apparent and has become a full-on swollen gland. No pain, just a seriously swollen gland. Well, I take that back, the right side of my head is starting to feel irritated, but it wasn't last night. Is this that cold that's going around or am I developing a sinus infection? I just don't know...

Which I suppose I could have qualified by saying, I have the CD in the car...

I did find somewhere that the ending narration was pulled.... but I will have to search from home to find more info. Too bad I never get near the computer at home... thanks to my young WoW monger.

Frickin' great... now my neck is getting achy. If only willpower alone could keep you from catching things, I'd totally think this one into submission.

Feel better, Goonie. Oh, and you look damn good in a tiara, but I want to see a pic of you in your NEW hat.

Or you could go direct.

She looks great in both the new hat and the uniform that goes with it! I saw in person!

So we have this little lunch guy that comes around the building selling lunches for $6 (always $6, which makes it easy). Terriffic food. I keep thinking one of these days I'll find out where they come from, if it's a caterer or whatnot. But the little guy that comes around doesn't speak English well enough to ask too many questions. He's like, Italian or South American or something. But anyway, his food rawks. Had a turkey ham ciabatta sandwich - they should have called it a muffaletta, because it turns out to have had olive tapenade on it with some peppercinis. Yummy yum.

I'm feeling a bit depressed and overwhelmed today. I do not like it one bit.

Tell me about it. :(

Over the weekend, Rex our wonder dog found his way into $50 of specialty dark chocolate my wife purchased in New York. Two days in the doggie hospital and $600 later he's doing fine.

IF your dog gets into chocolate or other poison the very FIRST thing to do is to force-feed him a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide - then prepare the stand back and clean up. The HP will go into his stomach and expand causing him to throw up. If you catch him soon enough, most of the chocolate will be expelled. You still need to go to the vet, but if you catch it soon enough, the follow-up treatment shouldn't be so bad. But, you should still take him to the vet. Chocolate can cause liver failure pretty quickly in dogs, dark chocolate is much worse than milk.
