I don't want a dog...ever. But those pictures are making me have second thoughts. Very cute.

I suggest you go read the Thurston Howl thread THEN talk to me. :p

Or get Thurston in your lap for 15 minutes.

I have decided that I need to spend a part of my bonus and get a new computer.

Yeah!

Okay, I'm new at this...

How am I ever to get anything done when every time I sit down for two minutes there's suddenly a cat asleep on my lap?

Yeah!

Hey you should start a thread about this... (or hijack an old one).

First question: Why only part? :D

Puppy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm leaving tomorrow for Vegas! Happy happy me. I am so ready for a break. Someone else will cook, and hopefully I'll be able to sleep through the night. I know that a hound will not be waking me up. I can deal with the rest of it. My handicapped hound has his space reserved at the kennel, and my other hound will be home with the kitty. I just hope the traffic isn't too bad.

Along those lines...my middle one (the enabler of the group) just realized that we haven't given Santa their lists yet. I think she's a little panicky...and it might just work to my advantage. :D

It's not that I don't like dogs. It's just that they're a lot of work. A very high maintenance animal. (That is unless you just leave them chained up in the backyard. Which, to me, kind of defeats the purpose.)

And then there's my allergy problem to deal with. Whenever I'm around a dog or in a house where a dog lives for longer than 4 hours I begin to experience some minor respiratory problems. Discomfort mostly.

We've got 4 cockatiels right now that are more than enough to take care of.

This little guy here (named Easter because he hatched on Easter morning) sings the most and gives kisses.

Charcoal... your barbecue. Or art charcoal from an art store. Or light a match, blow it out, and use the burnt end to make coal marks.
