I just knocked a recently-filled glass of water off a table onto the floor where it broke into pieces and covered the floor with water. Is this day over yet?

Spooky! I just dropped a yummy freshly-heated chicken pot pie and it landed face-down with an explosive splat on the kitchen rug. Now it's on to "plan B" for din! :(

I just got home from a 7 1/2 hour no breaks, no lunch work day.

Tomorrow looks to be even worse :D

So what's in the crock pot today?

I'm just hoping this doesn't get lost in the fray... I couldn't figure out another place to put it.



Anyone who's heard me go on about the difference between... say... Sumatra and New Guinea coffees........ ?

Just got home from dinner at Mortons. French Onion Soup, Filet with King Crab Legs and broccoli. Finished off with molten lava chocolate cake. Lots of Cabernet Sauvignon along the way. All courtesy of a vendor.

Whoo boy, am I stuffed.

I just got home from helping my best law school buddy finish emptying her apartment in anticipation of tomorrow's flight back to her home in Los Angeles. Took a load of stuff to Goodwill, had some pizza, and loaded up my car with the stuff I thought I'd keep - wine rack, nice computer chair, garbage bags (always need garbage bags!), sunlight desk lamp, fan, and a casserole dish with lid, amongst other things. Nice stuff! And some of it, like the computer chair, is stuff we actually need and were planning to purchase.

Tomorrow, though, I have to say goodbye. :( Probably won't get to see her again until April.
