We could fix that.

Cute little article on web privacy. I find myself liking the stuff on Slate, even though it's fairly simplistic.

Now I KNOW Alex wants me! ;)

So, Alex, gonna be in town for NYE?

And, the Bra is OFF!

I got my rejection letter from West Virginia today. So, I'm officially through looking for a legal job. I've applied to firms, judges, agencies state and federal, universities, and anyone else I could think of. It's pretty clear that there's something wrong with my portfolio, but no one can or will tell me what it is. So, I guess it wasn't meant to be. It was a fun chapter of my life, but now it's over.

Everyone's bra is off on NYE. Well, I know at least mine was last year.

Um, well... that just sucks!

I could write all sorts of pithy comments about keeping your chin up and that something will come along.

But it still sucks!

If you are interested in tuning up your resume, try what I did. Place an ad on Craigslist for a fictitious position with all the same qualifications I was looking for in a job. Setup a dummy Gmail account and watch the resumes poor in. It gives you a great point of view of who your compitition is what what you need in your resume.....

You know, Pur, that does cusk but at least you don't have to move to the boonies! As for giving up, why do that? You may miss out on the job you really are supposed to have.

Morrigoon 12-29-2007 10:24 AM

Pru, you can't give up that easily.

My brother took 8 months to find his first job after the bar, and he had great qualifications. That's just how it goes, it's not you. Just get focused on passing the bar now.

Although I hear there might be an opening in Disney legal ;)

I dreamt that Rose and I won the former Gallery suite at Disneyland for a night- and during the night, I fulfilled my dream of launching waterballoons at the Fantasmic stage area. I did a lot of maniacal cackling too (more than usual).
