Sorry to hear that CP. Plain rice is also a good option when you feel like you might be able to maybe eat something. Chicken broth, too, is a good thing to drink.

I finally forced myself to make tea though I suspected I'd pour it down the drain. A few sips of orange spice and I was ready for a bite! Made myself a fried egg and I'm on the road to recovery. In a bit I think I'll heat up some chicken broth and dig out some crackers. Wish I had real saltines on hand! I'm still weak but thankfully all of you are here to keep me company. Late to the "feel better game" - but for me, rice with a little miso soup added to it makes a great first meal. Also chicken broth can substitute for the miso. I also really like plain oatmeal. I generally don't like sugar too much, and the other way out I like even less, so I avoid that as much as possible. The oatmeal seems to settle my stomach.
In other news... time to go get kitty!! |
