I think on the plus side, this means that they make it themselves, which is more than one could say for a LOT of restaurants these days.

Also I'm going to give credit to pain meds for me thinking this entire thread of discussion from post #139 down for seeming like deja vu.

Yeah, but it also means their chowder is heavy on the potato and light on the clams (you know, when they remember to add them in at all!)

Several years ago, Denny's won the Pismo Beach Clam Festival Clam Chowder Cook Off. Pissed and embarrassed a lot of the local restaurants.

Actually, not a lot of potato in it - just a lot of creamy soup.

Whereas Souplantation's clam chowder is more like potato strips with a white watery cream sauce.

It was originally designed by NASA to make safer aircraft cushions. Now it's being used to cushion something else.

Exsqueeze me?

That's not right. You must be a lying liar who lies. Why else would you say such things?

Obviously this is a time traveling Kirk/Shatner from the future or some alternate universe. Check and see if he has a goatee. That's always a dead giveaway something is wrong.

Should I be worried that I don't think 80 is that old?
