Is anyone having a Seder? I'd love to go to one.

innerSpaceman 04-01-2008 10:29 PM

Sigh, not this year. But next year it will be 5 years since the last BIG one, and thus time for another BIG one.

And we'll be having it on a weekend day that won't be one of the first two nights of Passover ... so no excuses this time from people who have other seders to go to ... because there won't be any other seders that night! Hahahaha!

Is that like a circlejerk??

innerSpaceman 04-01-2008 10:33 PM

yes, but with matzoh.

BarTopDancer 04-01-2008 10:36 PM

Ours is always more like a "It's a Jerry Springer Seder" then a "A very special Blossom" Seder.

Hopefully my wonderful cousin remembers to bring the vodka. Is vodka kosher for passover?

B, I love you, therefore I say you really don't want to come to ours. It's also very non-Sedery. Many congregations used to have open Seders for those in the community who wanted to attend. Not as fun as going with friends though.

I think I need to create a hedonist holiday to compete with Easter and Passover - oh wait, May Day is coming soon, not to mention Walpurgisnacht.

Lil' Miss Jew Factchecker here to say yes, vodka is kosher for passover, as is wine, of course. Just can't have any malted hops or fermented barley.

Knobber? What part of the country is that term from?
