So, in looking at the intial results in the Lodging Poll ... which I admit are hardly conclusive ... it nonetheless occurs to me that Monday thru Friday in the Sierras will naturally be harder for the majority of working stiff people than the usual swankcampish or other swanking event which usually encompasses a weekend.

Now, Y'all need to understand that the Stoat is away in Forster at the moment, and he has to get the time to read all these posts and the 100 or so PM's and then discuss stuff with me, so we're looking at another 24 hours (or so) before we make any changes to our concrete statue of Yosamite BUT......

...One of the proposals I have put to him involves extending our Spokane / Suisun stays by a day or two, then doing Yosemite on the Thursday, Friday, Sat, Sun (the 16th-19th April). This might make it easier for folks to join us.

It would mean, however, that we would have to cancel the Hearst Castle tours. We shall see - Maybe those thinking Hearst can join us for the Winchester house instead ?!?

This is your vacation and you need to do whatever you need to do. I know Chris and I will try our best to see as much of you as possible. The leg work is done for cabin rentals. We just need to know dates and number of people to move on it. Let us know your thoughts when Stoat catches up with all of this.
