I was just briefly puzzled by the thought of a bus on crackers.

I hope it works out well for you, either way.

And a lot dryer, flatter and infinitely more boring. And if done during summer, a helluva lot hotter.

There is some interesting scenery along the way.

Or, for a hundred bucks round trip, you could do this. :)

I did it and it was actually pretty cool. Free snacks and drinks, onboard bathroom and movies.

Ooh. With the price of gas these days this isn't a bad deal! Perhaps when we plan a Vegas swanking...

Did it in August. I am very very VERY glad our car had tinted windows.

Let's see. 4 1/2 hours to Vegas or 4 1/2 hours to Yosemite. Hmmmm. Gee, that's a difficult decision.

Ghoulish Delight 01-11-2008 12:01 PM

3 1/2 hours to Vegas.

At least when I drive it.

So, I'm annoyed with Virgin America right now. I have a credit with them for my cancelled flight in October. I just booked a flight to LAX, they did not apply the credit, so now I call them, I'm on terminal hold, a really loud and awful ring in my ear to get to the agent, then I get a hang up, now back on terminal hold with really loud and annoying muzak again.......I hope the flight is better........

okay, all fixed. But the techno-pop was annoying.
