Debbie Harry is one of those people who can do no wrong in my eye. I always thought she was like one of the coolest people on Earth. She's done a lot of philanthropic work re: AIDS, HIV. Love her.

Don't get me wrong... I LOVE Blondie. However...

1) Blondie singing a Christmas song.
2) Blondie singing a religious Christmas song.
3) Their arrangement of the song just doesn't work.
4) Debbie looking and moving like someone's drunk grandmother trying to "rock out".

Apparently, she recently got flack from Bill O'Reilly on Fox "News" for releasing this version of the song as part of his stupid War on Christmas thing. There's another reason why I continue to support her.

Anyway, there's a free download of the song on her official website. I downloaded it and added it to my 2 CD Xmas set that I'm giving out to my theatre folk here in HI.
