Ooh! Kitty is doing much better. I don't know if I posted anything about it, but he didn't have mites. He did have continuing problems with his allergies. A combination of ear cleaning solution, antibiotics, two amateur cat wrestlers and a diet of duck and peas and no more sneaked food seems to have him in good spirits. The ears are slowly getting less plugged.

Did I mention that he's a total bread fiend? I didn't figure it out until I woke up one morning to find him munching on it. Needless to say, stuff is more locked up - I just didn't think boring old bread would be an issue when Monsieur Markus gets a feast of duck and peas.

That reminds me that I need to find some cables and upload some pics of him. He is increasingly adorable, but I've been reminded how time-consuming pets can be. He's mostly time-consuming because he likes to hang out with people.

The problem: What happens when I get a job?

Well, I'll probably get a second cat. It's not all that much more work than just one cat, especially after Markus' health issues. Hopefully, they can be buddies and I'll be well on my way to having a Casa de Swank in Utah.

I can't wait to see pics of him! :)

Ooh, I can't wait to see pics, either.

Bread, not as odd as Tango liking raw broccoli and fritos and crackers. Then there was the evening she stole a fried won ton off my plate. Crunchy she likes, a lot!

I'd vote for getting a pal. I wish I could for Tango, she'd love a buddy, but the lease is 1 pet only, dammit.

How's Thurston doing?

While I am thinking about it....little cutie, he is.

Yeah, I'm wondering about Thurston, too...

Mon dieu... this crazy real estate market. Just found a listing for a condo with a garage in Orange for $174,000. W-T-F.

What part of Orange?

Morrigoon 01-17-2008 03:30 PM

On La Veta, a couple blocks east of you. It's a 1-bedroom though.

Ghoulish Delight 01-17-2008 03:32 PM

Hmm, that's an interesting location. La Veta at point is a majorly busy area, and that'd be right on top of the HUGE hospital complex. Pretty undesirable.
