Well yeah, of course it's undesirable (and yeah, I think it's close to St. Joseph's), I mean, it's at the absolute bottom bottom of the price range, but still... it's not in Santa Ana, either.

Note to security officers:

If you want to keep people out of the elevator for a two-hour span so that your visiting dignitary doesn't have to rub elbows with the proletariat, or ride along with explosive devices, you might want to think of a better "out-of-order" reason than "preventative maintenance."

The state of elevator repair services on campus is widely known. Elevators regularly sit inoperable for weeks at a time waiting for their turn in the repair cycle. The idea that you would be so caught up suddenly as to be into a preventative maintenance cycle is laughable.

You're not fooling anyone, you know.

Whoops! I also meant to add how there's something about him that reminded me of Dexter. He doesn't particularly look like Dex did, but there's something very loving in his eyes - I've noticed that at some point, I started calling him Pooks.

He seems to be responding to it, too, even though he's been called Markus for well over a year now.

Have you tried offering him turkey?

Holy carp... (intentional typo)... Is that blogged about typing thing even close to accurate? It says I type 142 wpm!

Chernabog 01-17-2008 05:26 PM

^^ Dear lord. I type right now (lots of errors cuz I am tired) 78 wpm (where it says "Speedtest")

Tried it on another site where I'm typing actual sentences instead of random words, and it's around 95 wpm.

In case anybody cares (besides Cherny and I), today is the 14th anniversary of the Northridge Earthquake.
