So, about a minute after I posted that my boss came in and wanted to see me. I just got a MASSIVE promotion: 25% raise (!), new title, new furniture, etc. etc. etc....OMG!!!! Every day should be so dull!! :D

I went to my interview this morning. I would LOVE to work for this woman. It is a small company that is expanding. It is right up my ally. Only 8 workers so no office politics to worry aobut. She was worried that she could not meet my salary expectations. When I told her (again) that I knew my ending salary at SBC was pretty much a thing of the past and that I was looking for around $15/hr (still really good for Bakersfield) she let out a sigh of relief and said that that was very doable. I should hear from her Thurs or Fri. I am supposed to hear from PPSC on Thursday, so when they call I will tell them I will let them know on Friday. I sosososooooo want this other job. The owner, who I interviewed with is so sweet and her product is absolutly beautiful, I can totally see myself working there, plus the hours are awesome-7:30-4 Mon-Fri!! I really want this!!! I want to be able to look forward to going to work!!

Ok, I am going to go take a nap. I stopped at Chuy's on my way home and need some zzz's before heading to Target later (don't need a DUI to jinx my day).

WTG MG!!!!!!!!

So, I'm working late (again) and want a snack from the vending machine...but it's freaking pouring and I don't wanna go to my car for the change (which I'm not even sure I have in there).

The freeway should be fun tonight when off to Hollywood we go.

There have been sirens going off around here all day. There are a lot of semi-flooded streets and gutters. I also noticed cops galore, Kern Sheriffs, CHP and BPD all over the place on my way home from my interview. I had just grabbed my cell to call my mom when I noticed a CHP truck behind me. Then I saw 2 BPD cars at the next intersection, but they were in a county pocket. Getting off the freeway I ended up behind an umarked cop car. It was nuts.

The park was very, very wet tonight. And I still am.
