I hate it when people at work who are not busy (and are never busy) say that they're 'too busy to talk'. Yeah, right.

It isn't that they a re too busy to talk in general, its just that they are too busy to talk to YOU.

Seriously, it is probably that they know that if they stop to talk to you, that they might be required to actually think (gasp) or do something (the horror!).

Maybe it was the Onion/Sardine bagel I had this morning?

Funny thing is is that I'm always busy but am never too busy to talk to someone. In fact, it's always good to talk to someone because what they end up saying could make one less busy. (Or more busy, I guess...)

But to blow off someone... lame.

So I've been blogging all morning on this - the Fed announced an emergency between-meeting rate cut this morning. 3/4%! Huge. And just to highlight what a big deal this is, I should point out that the next meeting of the Fed is only a week away, but they still decided to cut now (and will probably cut again at the meeting, maybe not by as much).
