Soooo....

Woofy sorry to hear about the hamster. You want mine? she's a b***h. I can not handle her without gloves at all she bites big time. Now my rat Gina she is so sweet and i can pick her up take her out of her cage and cuddle her (she loves my hair). :) Hope you get a better hamster that lives longer. I think mine is gonna live awhile and i've had her a year and a month already.

You know, I start to panic when someone in my office is talking on the phone and says, "Well, I checked. There's more than one in the area. Which asylum is she at?"

I remember that wound (still wonder whether it should have had stitches). I think that is an appropriate image.

Nah. It was a good, sharp knife so the cut was clean, and it didn't get all the way through. It's already mostly pain-free and on its way to closing up.

I don't know anything about hamsters (other than they are mean), but a rat's average life span is 18 months to 2 years. Squiggle will be 3 April 1st, but I don't think she is going to make it. This morning her hair was standing up, which is a sign that her ned is near. The other girls seem to be taking turns sleeping with her, keeping her warm. She is the last of her litter (her last sister died January 2nd), and she has had a good life. She needs to let go already.

Raining. Home on a Wednesday for the first time since April.

My new position isn't bad. They're throwing work at me right and left. I'm juggling many to-do lists, meetings, training, writing procedure, making charts, researching...you name it.

It's fun.
