Stupid question time...
The dress I bought for the wedding (the one that I am going to in March) is black lace over a reddish lining. When I mentioned it at work everyone freaked out and said that you can't wear red to a wedding. They also said that the black was fine since it was an evening wedding.

This makes no sense to me. My sister's wedding was black & red. No one said anything about no red at a wedding back then. It isn't like the red is an "in-your-face" fire engine red.

So the question is, should I go ahead and wear this great dress, that looks good on me, or should I try to find something else?
