I exchanged some pleasant e-mails with an old friend yesterday. I'll probably call my mother tomorrow.

Sheesh, I've been gone a while... I've been working at home -- LONG hours! Like, almost all the awake ones. :D Doing the family business thing. Woo-hoo, and it is finally starting to pay off! Better salary than the old studio job, and while I don't have much time to surf anymore, I'm way happier. Now that I've got everything set up, I can relax a bit!

We're doing a lot of business travel this year. I'm mulling over an offer to go to Buenos Aires! I've not been to South America yet...

I've lost 10 pounds already on Weight Watchers (3 weeks in). My Dad is responding well to chemo and will celebrate his 70th birthday this week. My sister is getting married to a guy we love. I get to work on the sequel to "The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra" in a few weeks. I think my doodles are going to go pro this year. Hubby is celebrating 40 years in the biz, and his 60th year on this dizzy, delightful orb.

2007 was all of teh suck. 2008 is so far 200gr8!

Looking over that post, I realize it reads like the worst sort of Xmas letter...but really, the last time I was posting here regularly, I had such bleak outlook, and things just sucked so badly, that I wanted to share some of the good stuff for once. And things ARE good now. Thanks for the "Wow!", Kevy...that is exactly what I need to keep telling myself! Life ain't so bad these days...:)

I'm glad to hear things turning around a bit for you, Liz. Stephanie is getting married!!! WOW! It sounds like everything is pretty wonderful. I''m glad you're going to take your doodles one step beyond. You were always great.

In other news, due to the sad fate of one of my very first clients' dogs,big lovable Jake. we're going to see Mandy Patinkin at the Kodak tonight.

Stephie is marrying Houston...from Dallas...in Austin. Yeah, we've made a few errors discussing the whole thing.:blush: He's a great guy though!

Thanks for the doodles kudos...they don't stink I guess...:D I like 'em anyway. And mebbeee some others might too. I'm guessing that finally it's time to find out about that.
