This summer: Prince Edward Island and lobsters. Lots and lots and lots of lobsters. Also butter.

Drawn Butter ?? Or just loosely sketched ? :p

I am passing on a request for at least some of the swankings not to be museums.

Certainly, and I agree with this reasoning, there are other things somewhere between sophisticated art appreciation and rustic camp life that are swanky.

I agree. I've been to most of the major So Cal museums or go with some regularity. There are loads of other things to do that are a lot more interactive.

How about a hike in Will Rodgers State Park? Shopping on Melrose? A Day at the Santa Monica Pier/third street promanade?

(OK, so I'm heavy on the museums and shopping....but that's why I asked for suggestions!)

By your command.

Here is one just for you. Oh and in addation to the run of the mill stuff, they also have circus acts! :D (stress on the word "acts").

Well, I'll certainly be suggesting various dance and music performances as they come, as well as suggest some swank club & dinning experiences such as the Standard, but feel free to suggest away - the year is young and there's plenty room for swank.

Oh, I truly hope for lots of off-the-record, quasi-spontaneous swank. But I think it's been demonstrated that the official monthly swankings are likely to reach a grand total of Six.

I know of at least one LoTter who has been there.

If you want another type of swanking, plan one. I sure as hell don't have time to plan them all.

I'd love to see a Dita Von Teese Burlesque show the next time she's in the area
