I just heard from Stoat, and they have safely arrived at MS's. I'm so glad we're seeing them again in a few days, or I truly would have been sad to say goodbye. They weren't here for nearly long enough, but we had fun and I'm very grateful to have had the time alone with them that we did. It's going to be a little hard to share them.;)

I'm sure Lash and Stoat will post about their adventures here, but I just wanted to assure everyone we have video of them frolicking in the snow atop Mount Spokane. Lash was in his Crocs- he's a natural at this PNW thing, although a purist would insist on Birk's. We also had a nice dinner at Clinkerdaggers, a local landmark restaurant overlooking the Spokane river- it was very nice. I think I'm still full.

Griddle issue solution: the new camping grill we bought came with a very large griddle. We shall bring that.

I believe it is this one:

Beware speedctraps. We have seen many CHP in hiding with radar out.

It is beaitiful and green up here. Just hit Coursegold.

A reminder to anyone heading to Cambria after Yosemite. There are major speed traps all along Highway 46. They are usually thickest between Cholome & Paso, near the rest area. Friday afternoon/evenings they are running pretty heavy.

Just restocked the First Aid kit. We have remedies for most ailments. All are welcome to use it if the need arises. :)

I'm still trying to get my class assignment done. Unfortunately, I lost nearly five hours of work on it today when the program crashed. :(

Me, too!

Actually, we're on schedule- we'll be leaving in about ten minutes. We're going to drive as far as possible today, with an eye for meeting up with Chris and Lisa tomorrow before the Park so we can grocery shop together. After being so busy for the last few weeks I am going to enjoy sitting on my ass during this drive. (I think).

See you all soon!

I really love sitting on my ass and looking out the window. I love to think about each town, house, etc. What is their story?

Luckily I am not the one driving. :D
