Clean shaven.
It feels weird.

Ah, you should have at least waited until you were done with the lunch lady routine

For that he'd need to leave the 'stache, then grow about 4 or 5 long hairs from one side of his chin.

:( Alas, poor Scruffy! I knew him, Horatio: a fellow
of infinite beardiness, of most excellent fancy: he hath
borne me in his car a thousand times; and now, how
baldfaced in my imagination he is!

Ufta!
We had a really good first rehearsal/read thru for the Drowsy Chaperone. It's a pretty small cast, maybe 14 of us total.
I have to say it was a little intimidating. A lot of big dogs in this show. Including one of the big theatre producers here taking the part of the Man in the Chair. One of the singers of the Hawaiian group Na Leo Pilimihana is going to be Trix the Aviatrix. One guy who is a big time opera singer here and an actress who is a big time singing coach here in HI is Adolpho and Drowsy. I must say, I feel like a newbie to this even though I'm not.
Well, they liked what I did with the character. I just gave it a stab and the director and producer liked it okay.
A lot of singing and dancing. We sang a lot tonight.
Oh, and did I mention I have to learn to tap dance for one of the numbers?
lol
:D

Dude, I love Na Leo Pilimehana! Their stuff is lovely :)

Jim and I were wondering if you were going to perform the "Cold Feet" number with tapdancing and.... wahhh I wanna see you!!!!

I love love love love love that show.

This show gets quoted more around here than "The Women"!

Gemini Cricket 08-21-2009 01:54 AM

Any show that rhymes "cold feets" with "shmold feets" is alright with me, sister!
:)

Boy, I wish I could take a camera in and show you guys what goes on during rehearsals. That in itself would make a good play...

You can read that last sentence any way you like. I'm purposefully being cryptic.

;)

Tonight, I was tap dancing.
I can't tell you how happy I am right now.
They taught me a tap danging routine and it was the bomb.
:)

Hey, Happy Feet Cricket, we're here visiting the MamaStoat, and she sends you love and hugs and wishes she could see you onstage.

...so do we.
