Lounge of Tomorrow

Tonight I had whole wheat penne with pesto, chicken, zucchini, yellow squash, mushrooms, onions, and just a bit of cheese.

And, I made enough for lunch tomorrow. Couldn't be happier.

Okay... so my cat seems to stop whatever he's doing when the theme music for Star Wars begins. He listens to the entire thing. I stopped it and watched some regular TV for a few to make sure I wasn't imagining things. He went back to what he was doing, but sure enough... Star Wars music starts, he stops.

I just had to share it.

He actually watched about half of the movie with me. I was impressed. It's been a while since I've seen A New Hope, and I'd forgotten how well the music plays along with it. It wasn't overwhelming, and helped Markus focus on some of the details of the film...

I heard about how bad it was. I know the other day that J (who is in Iowa) had temps around -8 during the day, with wind chills in the -30 and beyond. Ugh.

As for Utah, we're supposed to have a mix of rain and snow tomorrow, which has me worried about picking up J at around 11PM. Ugh.

It's a positively freezing 57 right now at 5:00 p.m. I may need to put a sweater on if I go outside.
