Awesome pictures.

I'm still bummed it was too dark to take a picture of the bear that we walked past (it was just a few feet off the trail) last time in King's Canyon.

Great day yesterday. Had lots of fun @ H&T's reading, as did Theo. And now that T is reliably sleeping through the night, we were able to put him down to sleep, get our next door neighbor to 'babysit' (and she tried to not let us pay her anything!) and go out for dinner and a movie (Jackass 3D).

Yay!

I'm also bummed I had my point and shoot with me rather than my long lens so I didn't get anything good of the bears at Hetch Hetchy that were swimming in the lake.

I just heard from Susan that we have a baby Chameleon. It wasn't one which I had in the incubator (we lost all of those); apparently, one of the girls buried her eggs in the dirt and it hatched the old-fashioned way. It is entirely possible that more will be forthcoming.

The interesting part about this is determining who the Mom is. The first suspect is Karma as she had bred with Noyoke a while back. However, because Chameleon eggs can take anywhere from 7-12 months to hatch, it is possible that the egg(s) were from another female we had who mated with another male (both since gone).

Happy surprise none-the-less.

You should update your copy of Disney A-Z.

Otherwise you'll never learn of the existence of DCA.

I was wondering if anybody was going to notice that.
