That's lots of driving for one day.

450 vs 200?

That's a really big mistake!

Now that I've had a little bit of sleep. Story is that there is a big production release this weekend and I have to work it, but I have VPN so I don't physically have to be in the office.

So, I think, what I'd like to do is go down to Cambria, spend some time watching and photographing the elephant seals at Point Piedras, get a hotel room with high speed internet and do my work from there.

But we get down there, the weather is miserable and my cold seems to be getting worse and we're just not feeling the magic and I just want to come home. So we did. But I don't want to just drive back the exact route I'd just driven down so I take an alternate that was longer than I'd expected.

So.... I have now seen all five Best Picture nominees... in one day.

And, as if my life needed to be more challenging right now, the ice I've been standing on has begun to crack.

I think I'll go write a screenplay. Seems the thing to do, somehow. :/

Oh, I'm not all that sick. Just sick enough that wandering around Cambria and then sitting in a hotel room all night didn't sound at all enjoyable.

I can recommend a really good Ethopian place.

And don't forget to go to the North End. Giacamo's Restaurtant and also Regina's Pizzeria.

I want to go just to go to Regina's again.
