a tip. call them and thank them for the interview and tell them how you feel. do the "even if Im not chosen for this particular position, please keep me in mind for any other openings you may have as it feels like a place I'd really like to work" thing. do your own follow up.

being and coming across as proactive and positive can really seal the deal.

fingers crossed for ya

Things I've learned staying at my Mothers -

Milk is good up to 6 weeks past the expiration date.

Don't attach your headboard to the frame it's easier to make.

Shred any article of mail that has your name and address (anything junk mail flyers - anything).

Even if there's only one small piece of brocolli left - don't throw it out instead save it in one of the 10,000 empty margarine containers in the fridge.

If a side by side fridge won't fit in the space you need to put it, just tilit it kitty corner so it takes up half the kitchen.

If you have a perfectly great old deep bathtub have it refinished. And add that gritty sand stuff to the bottom of it so your behind gets a rash trying to take a bath.

No need to build a carport on your spare lot. Use the whole front yard instead. Who doesn't want a view from the living room window of the carport?

Don't use the real butter to make mac & cheese. Cause then there's not enough to make cookies. And if you buy more then there will be some left over, and then what are you going to do with that?

It's way to complicated for me to live here

I can't make my TV work.

Capt Jack 03-06-2008 11:32 PM

whats it doing...or would that be 'not' doing?

Not Afraid 03-06-2008 11:35 PM

It's not turning on. Well, it's on, but no picture. It was working fine last night but I left the remotes on the couch and there were fuzzy things sitting on them. it's recording my stupid model show, so at least I can see it later.

I tried changing the input buttons. I don't remember which input number is the one for the tv.
