From 1971 the opening credits of the Quinn Martin production, Cannon, starring William Conrad.

Pay special attention to the curious multi-shot of the back of William Conrad's head at 41 sec. Was it random? Symbolic of something deeper? A joke? Only Quinn Martin knows for sure.

P.S. Can anybody freeze that shot for my screen-saver?
