WTG Moonliner! Smart man, keeping it fun and not mandatory.

Kudos!

Oh no! My treadmill desk has been rendered obsolete.

The Swimming Desk from ThinkGeek.

Too funny! But my job is 40% at my desk, 50% at my work bench, and 10% elsewhere. I'm not sure they would like me walking around the factory or attending meetings in dripping wet swim trunks and flip-flops! ;)

I would love that. Seriously.
Obviously, I'd need waterproof electronics to go with it, but nonetheless, that would be so cool.

Yes. It's still a thing. I'm at work walking on my treadmill desk right now.

Yesterday I received a new badge from FitBit:

The Russian Railway badge. 5,772 Lifetime miles. The length of the trans-Siberian railway.

That's excellent! Good job!

I'm going to a sports doc next week to see if they can tell me what is going on with my left knee and inside ankle. Advil is not doing anything and I am gimping along. Not meeting my step goal.

So, you fitbit types, any specific variant you'd recommend?

So the Russians hacked FitBit too huh?

Personally, I use the most basic one the fitbit flex. A lot of my steps come on the treadmill desk (where your arms do not move much) so I wear my Fitbit strapped to my ankle. As such I don't need a display of any kind on it.
