You know, without video, we'll have to believe anything. First you get to do the gangster voice on stage, now you get to tap dance, next it'll be a flying trapeze act or you'll wrestle a lion. Suuuure, Brad, whatever you say ;)



WTG!

Well, the show I'm in right now opens today. I'm pretty stoked. The last two nights of previews rocked, so it kinda feels like we opened already.

To be honest, it's been quite an interesting ride. One of the more difficult plays that I have been in. The end result is so solid that it almost makes riding that bumpy road worth it.

I gotta say, tho, that last night's final notes session with our director played out a lot like Anne Baxter's "thank you" moments to Bette Davis, Celeste Holm etc at the end of All About Eve. If you've seen the movie, you know exactly what the cast's non-verbal responses were to a bunch of fatally phony compliments from someone who has been panned island-wide. (You can check it out here at about 9:12 or so.)

Oh Brad, it may not be Broadway, but L.A. has a thriving theater scene with a much more, shall we say, professionally hopeful pool of actors. I seriously feel it would behoove you to take this next step in your acting career and return to Los Angeles for the good of the nation, as well as yourself.


Dammit, I want to see one of your shows!!!!

I honestly don't have the thick skin that is necessary to perform in LA or NY. I've learned that. And that's okay.
