When I was 8, buying girlie stuff was mortifying. Now, I know which ones to get and have no problem with making the purchase.

So, I'm trying to find some inspiration to finish off a wedding video tonight.

I'm not exactly in a romantic mood right now. Anyone have any suggestions?

I hear Eliot Spitzer's schedule has suddenly cleared up and that he likes a good time.

Whip out a DVD of "The Holiday" or "Love Actually". Both awesome, romantic films :)

Watch The Notebook and Away from Her then append the closing line to the video:

"May your marriage last long enough that eventually you have to go through that..."

My sister gave us a laser disk copy of Muriel's Wedding as a wedding present. She had never seen it or knew anything about it, but her rationale was that it had "Wedding" in the title and she knew we were into laser discs.

We sat down one evening to watch it for a "we're newlyweds; let's have a romantic evening together" night. Um, no.

Moral of the story? Don't watch Muriel's Wedding for inspiration.

Have ya ever noticed how phones on vibrate can sound like a vibrator?

Never noticed that, because the sound is probably silenced between my thighs. ;)

Sooo....

I have to be in Vista (a 90 minute drive with no traffic) tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. I keep vacillating between driving down tonight and staying at the La Quinta Inn or getting up at 4:30 in the morning.

Ewwwwww and I was JUST about to call you. ;)

I like the movie Amelie to put me in a happy romantic mood, but you gotta watch it all the way through to the end.
