So the doc says that I have a full-blown sinus infection. Swell. I'm armed with antibiotics and working from home today - hopefully will be able to rest a bit and fight this monster off.

A little more unsettling - though I'm trying not to look at it that way - is the abdominal pain near my waist on the right-hand side. They tested my kidneys and they're fine; next up is an ultrasound on Friday to test my ovaries. I'm no stranger to ovarian cysts - I hope that's what this is (and nothing worse) but it doesn't necessarily feel the same. I admit that I'm a little scared, but it's much better to check it out than to ignore it and pretend it will go away.

But that's the essence of settlement.

Doooooooooooooooooooood, there was waaayyy too much confusion over cap & gown rentals than there needed to be. Oy, turns out, I can show up (quite literally, apparently) the day-of the ceremony to get my cap & gown rental taken care of. I don't know why no one told me all the other times I called and emailed, but I finally got the straight dope from the guy in charge of all that stuff.
