I donated blood platelets today, to enter a raffle for Game 4 Kings playoff tickets.

I don't think I'd me smiling like that if someone was roasting my weiner over an open fire. Or my chestnuts for that matter!

Just got back from the hospital. They pulled wifey's tubes out, but her throat was so swollen that she had difficulty breathing, so they had to put them back in (re-intubate her). They are giving her steroids to reduce the swelling and will try again in a day or two. When I took her to the ER on mother's day, I had no idea it would be a week long ordeal!

At least it better not be much more than a week. I told them they are on a deadline. She must be on her feet by the 26th to attend our daughter's wedding. If she misses it, she will not recover. Period.
