Hmm, actually, I feel pretty in-control today.

A boss asked me to write up a cutesy "scavenger hunt" for a fundraising event (read: Old People Drinking Champagne). I took me the morning to do it but it came out great. Never did that before, though I know a thing or two about scavenger hunts...

Super cool CP! Why do I see a bunch of old people sipping champaign counting every other purple tile from children's lit over to adult non-fiction? AFTER they figured out how many animals are in "where the wild things are" (and debating if the human boy is technically an animal).

I've decided that our office managers current office nazi micromanaging streak is either going to be frustrating, or fun. I chose fun, and all things petty shall be ignored.

Wolfette just found 2 abandoned baby opossums....great! They are now sitting in a plastic cage on my kitchen counter. Hubby is picking up kitten powder and bottle to feed the little critters. They are only about 3 inches long right now and soooooooooooo...........cute! I know they grow up, but for now we'll nurse them along until they can eat on their own. We'll release them back outside then. Wolfette has of course already named them (not a good thing), Mickey & Tweety. Pics to follow later after feeding time.

Way to go Snowflake!! I think it would be great to ride the cable car every day.

I've seen a Opossum Rescue agency at some fair before. I believe it was in Irvine.
