If we had invisible skin I would always know which of my roommates ate my food.

"Oh yeh, open up your shirt ... Aha! I see an inordinate amount of nougat!"

Thread title notwithstanding, I wonder if translucent fish cook up translucent. Maybe, like egg whites, they become opaque when applied to a skillet.
