Stupid NHL scheduling a stupid game on stupid Oscar night. Though with the way the stupid Ducks have been playing I may skip it. Stupid.

I have a friend in Vegas who scheduled his 30th birthday party on Oscar night. Despite that his birthday was nearly a month ago ... and despite that he's GAY.

I told him he could have his Gay Card revoked for this kind of thing. :p

I will bring my laptop and food NOT themed to a movie, since I've seen a total of ONE this year.

I'm not sure what I'm bringing yet. Cake with fudge-tangerine frosting? Coconut cheesecake? It's all so perplexing!

Thanks to everyone who showed up. We got 16 people (and three chihuahuas) into the room! Once we realized that turning on the AC was a good idea, it was very comfortable. I couldn't ask for a better bunch - and I'm really looking forward to getting our Casa Chihuahua movie nights up and running.
