Don't you get to go Katie?

I could have but she wanted to do it on her own. I did the same sort of trip when I was in 8th grade and it was a wonderful experience so I want her to have the same.

Tom and I are very big fans of In the Heights. It's one day in the life of people on one particular corner of Washington Heights (a primarily latino community) in New York City. It relies heavily on a bunch of different latino musical styles, including rap, hip-hop, merengue and others.

We saw it in New York, and we'll be seeing it at the Pantages when it comes this summer. And we would love others to join us.

It's a pretty clean show, Katie - not much bad language, not a lot of really overtly adult situations. A lot of spirit and energy, though - I think she'll like it.

Thanks H - Sounds like she'll like it. From their website Corbin what's his name from the Disney channel stuff is supposed to be in it currently so that got her excited. They take them to a nice dinner then a Broadway show.

CP - I wasn't worried about sending her when we signed up in June but then she got the T1 diganosis. So now I'm totally paranoid because they go from breakfast at 7AM til lights out at 10PM for 5 days, in a different time zone. It's amazing the amount of stuff they're squeezing in. Anyway tired means wonky blood sugars, which make you more tired and more off. So I'm really hoping she stays on top of everything. But I have to let her fly solo, hopefully no hospital stays will be required.

I'm even more impressed, Katie. WTG. Hopefully she'll do fine.
