Thanks for the birthday wishes!
I started out the day with no particular plans. Got a phone call from an old friend who asked if I was having a cake. No, I told her I wasn't. She thought that was not acceptable and immediately placed an order for an ice cream cake, called me back and told me it would be ready at 5:00. Went to pick the cake up from Baskin Robbins and when I got home, noticed that the front of my house had been bedazzled. Balloons, streamers, sign on the garage -- the neighbors threw me a surprise party. With cake! Now I have a spare one for tomorrow.
