I had a professor in college who could write with both hands. Simultaneously. Different things.

His name was (and presumably still is) Arthur Charles Walter Bethel. On the blackboard, we would write "Arthur Charles" with his left hand and "Walter Bethel" with his right (at the same time). When complete, the two names would line up and were mostly similar in looks (though you could see some differences).

He was a quirky guy, but I liked him.

I can never remember if it was Cleveland or Garfield but one of those presidents was able to simultaneously write in Greek with one hand and Latin with the other.

Garfield apparently - I was unaware of this

I heard he likes lasagna, too.

I'm left handed and must use a fork in my left hand. I always pick a corner when we go out to eat so I don't elbow fight with the person next to me on the left.

I use scissors in my right hand and also use that hand for a mouse.

I text with both hands - like on a keyboard - it just feels more natural. But I scroll with my right hand - similar to using a mouse I guess. I also throw with my left hand.

I wear my computer headset and cell phone earwig in my right ear... odd that anyone is right or left eared... never thought about it but it's true.

I'm very clearly left-eared. I have terrible difficulty understanding people if I listen with my right ear. Feels really wrong.

I prefer to use my feet. It stimulates conversation.

I'm right-handed and I use my blackberry with my right hand. I'm used to mousing with my right hand too, leaving my left hand free for ummm... drinking tea.

a lot of what I seem to do along these lines seems driving centric. bluetooth right, phone right, even texting and operating the phone is mostly right handed (even though I really dont do either anymore except by voice dialing) leaving the left hand on the wheel, regardless of actually driving at the time or no.

I am getting a lot better at thumb texting with both hands now though. I think the iPhone has necessitated that.
