Oh, yes. I see. Lisa's last name is the same word as the one being used by Imagineering for a motel facade in the fictional town of Radiator Springs, which is the setting for the new Carsland being currently built in DCA. Sally's Cozy Cone Inn is a restaurant themed as giant traffic cones.

"Give me my pencil" was a call-back to a line in another thread. In "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown," Lucy's line, "Give me my pencil" directly follows the line, "What's an enigma?"

I see so cars that normally avoid hazard cones and now get a meal in one.

I get it, that's great.

Getting the joke apparently requires current knowledge of DLR affairs. Too bad I don't have any...

~whoosh~

I have reasonably current knowledge of the parks (though maintaining guide pages, not first hand experience) so I got the cone dog joke. I'm just not sure what the rest of it was about.

Oh, I just thought the "cone dog" was a typo. Shows how de-loopified I am.

Oh, I was just having fun on another board, by posting a fake, badly written rant about the state of affairs in DCA. I was tweaking them for the over-use of the term "cheap," and the unjustified complaining when actual construction doesn't look exactly like one of many iterations of concept art. I'm particularly proud of the use of the phrase, "Where will have the cone dogs?!?," for its ungrammaticality, and the tagline, "Cheep like a baby chicken." Either one should have been a tip-off that I was just funnin'.

Clearly, the wheel of internet Karma has rolled around pretty swiftly for me on this one.

I thought you meant, because you were going to erase the word and re-write it correctly. I laughed out loud, but now I feel cheep and used.

Never, EVER, call yourself cheap.

JWBear 10-25-2010 01:54 PM

Unless you are proud of it.

Gn2Dlnd 10-25-2010 02:29 PM

Cheep.

Like a baby chicken.
