Driving? Well, just take me along. I'm the default designated driver!

Seems like any other local Southern Californian pub crawl would involve an awful lot of driving to and fro.

Will this list only include swanky places or are dives allowed? ;)

You could make a pretty good dent in the numbers around here, too, if you went to Bourbon Street in the French Quarter - but that would still entail going out of state for most of you! (Hmmmm, does going through the Drive-thru on the Daiquiri shop count as visiting?)

Hitting lower State in Santa Barbara would make an alright dent.

I'm totally up for this. Just keep track (w/ photographic evidence...hope my cell pics are good enough...my camera doesn't fit in my usual "bar hopping" purse) of the bars I go to between Memorial Day & Labor Day?

Just for fun though...I don't think I could compete professionally. ;) I don't really like to buy my own drinks that much, and the guys I hang with would probably get sick of being dragged from bar to bar to buy me drinks, since I never "throw any their way." :D

Well, if you think about it, it needn't be done in a "crawl" style. Either way we look at it, if we had only 15 of us hitting 1 bar for the next 12 weekends or so, then that equals 180 bars, and that's not really even trying. LOL.

Maybe I'll have to work on this one...

I am so down for that idea!! :snap: for you Erica!

Yay! NA is going to drive me to Las Vegas! :D ;)

My weekend schedule is kind of booked for June, and the weekend of July 4th is set (tix for Wicked on July 3), but everything else is open.

When shall we go?

Hmm, how about this, Erica....

We start a new thread called "LoT Pub Crawl-A-Rama" or something, and whenever anyone hits a bar, they report it, with a picture. At the end of the summer we total it up.

We could even report which drinks were purchased so we can see what the swankers' favorites are.

Sound good? No huge motivation or planning involved, just a list, and huge numbers at the end of summer. :D

I read the title as "Major Pug Brawl". Me thinks it's time for new contacts. hehe.

My idea of a pub crawl is to go in walking and to come out crawling. I have too large an attention span for bars. If I go to one I like, I want to stay there. And usually go there again the next time, and the next time. I haven't found my Cheers, yet, but someday. Someday!

I'm a bar loyalist, I guess. I like trying out new places, sure. But the traditional pub crawl of going to many bars in one night? Not for me. I like staking my place next to the cranky old regulars, where I spend the evening hoping they'll maybe throw some my way.
