I get Lucky (the magazine about shopping) and In Style. My Mom has been subscribing to them as a gift for me for a long time now. Thanks, Mom! :) I love when they come in the mail.

I won't subscribe to anything else, because as crazy as it sounds? I LOVE going to the newsstand! If you know me, you know my weekly highlight is "New Magazine Thursday". That's what I call it! And you know what today is! I love choosing all of my reading material, and then picking up an iced coffee at either Starbucks or The Coffee Bean on the way home. (I know, it sounds so sad.) Then, I curl up either in bed on a bunch of pillows, or outside in the sun on a chaise lounge and read to my heart's content. It's my weekly ritual, and I love it.

I purchase every week:

Us
Star
In Touch
Life & Style

Sometimes, I'll purchase People ( especially if Britney is on the cover) and I really like Hello! (The british gossip mag. I hardly know any of the celebs, but I still love reading about them!) My main reason for leafing through all of these mags is to follow the adventures of Britney & Paris. I'm obsessed with Britney. However, I'll read ANY magazine. I'm magazine happy, and I love to read.

And of course, the one woman's magazine I love? The femme bible, of course- Cosmo! July's issue was very informative. You can never get enough tips on keeping your man (or rather, his package) happy.
:p

My mom gifted me with Jane, which used to be a somewhat charming girlie rag, complete with vibrator comparison shopping and semi-serious articles about female castration amidst the drivel. Now it's about as utter crap as crap mags can get, and I hate it.

BUST comes out with a quarterly issue, so I just buy them as they come out; that magazine is my DREAM magazine. Amy Sedaris was featured in the last issue.

Also sometimes buy Juxtapose and Scientific American.

Like my active Catholicism, my subscription to "Daily Word" has lapsed.

I missed the last issue ever of Disney magazine, because without the Premium AP, I didn't get a free subscription this year.

I had two years of Real Simple as a gift, but then I forgot to ask for it this year, and it ran out. I'm stuck picking it up in airports, where I flip through the pages and catch the bf reading quietly over my shoulder. Real Simple: apparently not just a chick's mag.

My mom gave me her free gift subscription to Reader's Digest, which is about all my attention span can handle anyhow.

And sometimes I pick up Chocolatier at the newsstand. Chocolate Porn. Mmmmmmm

:snap:

I love Real Simple. It's the only mag I've ever subscribed to. It also happens that I can't seem to part with them. When I moved last month I filled an entire box with back dated Real Simple mags. Hey, I might need them someday for ...something.

Anyone else have a hard time parting with used their magazines?

I get the one AAA sends (forget what it's called out here), and alumni magazines from two colleges I graduated from.

I pay for Vegetarian Times.

MacAddict
MacWorld
Popular Science
Popular Mechanics
Time
Newsweek
National Geographic
and some Mazda Employees letter

All but the last are in my name, though a few were gifts :D (I literally spend all of my money on books/magazine subscriptions. Kinda sad, but I'm a book worm)

I subscribe to "Disney Fan", the official Japanese monthly magazine. And to "Funderful Disney" the official magazine of the Tokyo Disney Resort Fan Club. As for newspapers, the International Herald Tribune.
