Look underneath the postage stamp. Perhaps he wr'it the answer to the riddle on the stamps back so as to fool the warden (assuming your papa is in prison.)
I rec'd a letter from my father when he was illegally held at Guantanamo Bay. He said the usual, having a great time, treated well, etc. But at the bottom of his letter he wr'it: Son, you may want to add the stamps on this letter to your prized collection.
I thought it odd as I didn't have a stamp collection, at least one that was prized, so I peeled the stamps off and read the back. To my shock he wr'it:

My advice --check the stamp!
