Hmmm, my DNA test showed me to be entirely non-human. In fact, I didnt' have any DNA at all, but rather some made-up crap called midochlorians.

My real DNA has a whopping 1/4 dose of Swiss, add a glop of UK blend, a pinch of French (but we don't talk about that part), and blend. I was genetically programmed to be round-faced and stocky. Yay milkmaids. Beware the thighs of doom. (Seriously. They're very strong.)

But my fantasy DNA would be Borgia.

My paternal and maternal grandparents were immigrants from Slovakia. So I'm supposed to be 100% Slovak peasant. Oh yes, nuns and alcoholics can be found in my family tree. So that sums it up for me -- I'm a Slovak, partying nun.

Descended from French nobility on one side, French Canadian fur trappers on the other. A small bit of English and German in there as well. My great-great, etc, grandfather fought in the American Revolution, and was at Valley Forge. Later, he teamed up with Danny Boone and they hung out together long enough to get into all sorts of trouble.:D

I am a direct decendent for William Brewster, the minister on the Mayflower.

Otherwise, besides the English, my surname name comes from Daniel McCoe who came to America from Scotland on the prision ship, William and Mary. No idea if he was crew or prisioner. I also have bloodines traced to the Spencer clan (as in Princess Diana) with relatives who served in the courts of Henry I and Henry V. The name was originally LeDeSpencer, and was French/Norman.

That's my Father's side. My Mother's side has not been thoroughly traced, but has been in America for many, many years immigrating primarialy from England, Scotland and Ireland.

In reality, I'm a VERY American Brit Mutt.

I'm pretty happy with the English/Scottish fantasy but could lose the American History. Snooze.
