Those pictures of babies aren't art; they're glurge.

Someone needs to find out which space this is going to go into, pronto. I'll need to plan to walk around it on my next trip. Or take the monorail into the park. Or stay at a hotel on Harbor.

I've always liked the work of Kim Anderson when it comes to photos of young children. Very tasteful. For those unfamiliar with her work, here's a site with several of her photos.

What about the Larry Clark shop? Is that still opening at DTD?

I sure hope so. We need SOMETHING to bring us down from Geddes and Build-a-Whore.

Anne Geddes: Edible babies, all you can eat!

That's what I think when I see her babies. Baby peas in pods for a giant's tasty delights. Little human babies spirited away to the cruel fairy lands where they are transfigured into half-baby/half-peony creatures before being gobbled up.

Anne Geddes' work should be taken more seriously. Hers is not subject matter for Hallmark cards. It's not about being cute. I suspect Anne Geddes has been kidnapped by fairies, as well. She's only alive because her photographs make their menus look more appealing. "Baby de cabbage!" "Baby de pea pod!" "Baby au Flower Petal!"

How the images leak out into our mortal world we may never know, but I believe they are Anne Geddes' cry for help. And all you f**kers are mocking her while hundreds and thousands of our human babies disappear and die in the hands of the cruel fairy race.

What is WRONG with you people? You should all be ashamed. I bet this store is a portal to their world. We MUST save the babies from the fairy cooking pots!

Those who love me, follow me!

One of my wife's best friends had twins a year or so ago. A boy and a girl. She couldn't wait to show us the pics of her little cuties from Halloween. I said something to the effect of "as long as it's not some sort of Anne Geddes crap like pea pods or something."

Oops.

She pulled out a photo of them dressed as pea pods, with a heading of "two peas in a pod" at the top.

They're gonna sell babies at Downtown Disney?

That goes hand in hand with the Build-A-Whore place...

Of all the retail possibilities, this is what they pick? I know this is the first one of these on the North American continent, but I ask, does there even need to be one?

Why on earth would there be an entire store filled with her crap??? That makes me want to vomit into little flower pots filled with half nekkid babies.

Jesus crap, I was hoping this was some kind of joke, not a reality.

I hope they put in some kind of photo studio there....so when we visit as a family in December, Courtney can get all dressed up as a butterfly, Cassidy can dress like a bumblebee, and Chloe can dress like a flower and I can pretend to roll around in faux grass and get tickled by my sweet little angel children all dressed like scary crappy things.

This sucks.
