Crap, I forgot. LOL, can you tell I'm not working? I can't even remember what the date is without looking at the computer.

from a customer standpoint though, are they good to their customers? Would it be worth it to switch my service to them, or would it be a bad choice to use them as my phone/DSL provider. Just wondering, because the DSL deal sounds pretty sweet, but don't know the company very well from a customer service standpoint.

I was fired unfairly from a job once. (lots of write ups missing my signature with refused to sign in someone elses writing across them. I had never seen them until i was being fired.) I apllied for unemployment. they said they were going to fight, but the day of the hearing i got a call saying they were not showing up and I got it!...:) I was so happy knowing I never had to go back there though. It was scary not having a job for about 2 weeks, but I was soooo heppy not to have to go back there. ironically the man that had be fired was also fired for knocking up an under aged employee...he also got divorced after that....karma...

They used to be a great company to work for, and to do business with. They no longer seem to care much for their employees and customers. The thing to consider with DSL (I just switched from cable to DSL in March) is that if you have to call in for any reason the calls are routed to India. I love my DSL, but it is slower than cable (except during peak usage times). So far it has gone down a whole lot less than my cable used to. It's a toss-up. If you do switch you may want to look into the Pro speed tier. It is faster than the one at $14.95, but you have to live close enough to your central office to qualify for it.
