Ep 3. They have been "practicing" all over the front yard since July. Of course, I am in trouble because I got him Obie's sword and not Anakin's (they are both blue).

I don't personally have pictures, but my mom has pictures of just about everything.

It was, of course, all her idea. The "tube" part went around my torso with straps over my shoulders. The streamers hung down from the tube.

Today I'd probably be sent home from school for wearing a "pride" costume.

Every year I must do the following:

Watch 'Legend of Sleepy Hollow' - Disney animated version, 'It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown' and the Headless Horseman episode of 'Little House on the Prairie'.

This year, Ralphie and I are transforming our friend's garage into a haunted house for the neighborhood children.
:)

I'm going to be a zombie this year. I figure it's no different than staring at a computer screen all day! :D

I've always wanted to do this! Sounds like you'll have a blast. Maybe next year we'll have a house...

Yep, but at the time I bought it I had no idea what he was going to do for Halloween. He picked it out. At $20 a pop I am NOT getting him another light up blue saber. It is just a tiny bit darker than the Ani saber so he can make do. ;)

And I thought the site of me in a tutu (hence the original reference for those who don't know) was disturbing!

Damn that ghetto tooth fairy is fly...

I love Halloween but since we are still waiting for our house to finish being built we have like no decorations (all in storage...) of our own and my sister's stuff is okay but I miss our stuff....

The festivites will start this week though as we are planning on going to the Mickey's trick or treat thing this Friday, then next weekend my son has his school's halloween festival and then a birthday party to attend and then Monday will be trick or treating as a family. He will be Mickey Mouse (finally!! The poor boy has wanted to be Mickey for two years but we have had other plans... two years ago we did a Peter Pan theme-my son Peter Pan, I was Wendy, holden's dad was Captain Hook, my sister was Tiger Lily and my niece was tinkerbell. Last year we did Aladdin--my son=Aladdin, I was the Genie, dad=the magic carpet, my sister was Jafar and my niece was Jasmine. I was also mistaken for a blue bunny. Some old man at one of the houses yelled at me when he answered the door, "What the hell are you supposed to be?" Ahhhh..drunk old people on Halloween. Good times....) But this year we are Mickey and friends. I will be Donald Duck. Yippee. I kinda wanted to be mermaid man but my sister refuses for us to have any spongebob related costumes....

Our house sucks.

At least from the perspective of trick-or-treaters visiting. Our usual Halloween routine (besides Samhain celebrations) is to watch "Nightmare Before Christmas" while the little rugrats came a knockin'. I think we had maybe one or two knocks on the door the firt year we were here. Which really sucked because we bought full-sized candy bars and lots of them.
