OMG, they kick off Christmas THIS weekend??? Thanksgiving gets no respect anymore.

Welll, I have to say that a nice nap with hubby and cats was almost as good as Disneyland.

I'm glad I have quite a few more weeks to see Christmas at Disneyland.

They've always kicked off their Christmas season the first or second Friday of November.

There are 2 days a year where it's a guaranteed occurance, 4th of July and New Year's Eve. It's pretty rare outside of that, but happens occasionally.

Don't forget the first 2 or 3 days after Christmas. Disneyland usually hits capacity on those days as well.

Well, we got word they're letting people in, so we're going to brave it and check it out for ourselves afterall

Mousey Girl 11-12-2005 01:07 AM

Was it as bad as the rumor mill would have us believe?

Not Afraid 11-12-2005 03:05 AM

Well, we got there at 7:30 and things wern't too bad. I've seen much worse.

We saw the Christmas tree, the decorations, were too late to see Reindeer, ate at Zocalo, watched Remember from IASW with NO pyro off of SW (WTF?) but we did experience a tremendous blizzard, rode Small World Holiday and saw the new projection show that follows the 15 minute clock action. Then we looked at all of the Christmas goodies in the stores, had ice cream, laughed at plush and closed the park. We were out of there so late they turned the music off in the esplanade and DTD.

So, we got our Disney fix that we were looking for and it wasn't as bad as we thought. Plus, the park looks so festive and the tree is BEAUTIFUL! I'm glad it was cold though, or it would seem wrong.
