I was there on Saturday, looking forward to seeing them for the first time. We got to the hub about 20 min. before the show was supposed to start, and actually found perfect seats. They made several announcements saying they may be cancelled, and at about 9:30 they made the offical one (show was supposed to start at 9:25). I feel bad for the people who were sitting there hours in advanced.

Oh, and the snow was really really lame. I don't know if it was where we were standing or what, but you couldn't even see it (we were just to the east of the hub, around the Churro cart).

Anyone know if Fantasmic! ran?

Call me super geeky. During the summer when I was at Carnation Gardens every Friday night I got so I was noticing the fireman walking by on his way backstage with the white balloon. If you want to look super geeky, walk around Disneyland in your fire captain uniform holding the string of a white balloon.

Saturday night a couple of weeks ago the fireworks were delayed but we couldn't hear any announcements from the dance floor. Then I saw the white balloon going up and was sure they would cancel them because it wasn't going staight up, it was blowing right over the castle towards Main Street. But they finally started up a few minutes later. So don't rely on me for any predictions.

I haven't seen the snow this year yet but in years past the hub has always been a bad place for the snow. You need to be on Main Street proper.

Fireworks tonight! (Tuesday)

They did do a "delay" announcement. Then about 9:30...came Julie.

Nothing at IASW though. One of the projectors was broken, so only 2/3 of the facade was projected on.

"Hello, this is Julie Andrews. I've just called to say...I love you."

Damn you to HELL!

Maybe it will replace the Willy Wonka song in my head.

They should play Julie Andrews opening from this year's Hanging

Tonight the projector towards the left side of the Small World facade was not operating during the fireworks but DID function properly during the snowfall. They announed a 3rd performance of Fantasmic for 11:30PM due to crowds.

Fireworks were cancelled both nights of the Candelight Ceremony, making it the first time in long-toothed memory that the full spate of holiday entertainment was not availble on those all important nights (when the Park has been traditionally full of Disney VIPs invited to Candlelight.)

I feel really bad for all the Christmastime visitors to the park this season who have not had the fireworks top off their evening. The P.O.P. suggested that there is a curse upon the pyro shows, because they are sticking with "Remember" instead having Holiday Themed fireworks.
