Thanks, GC.

NA and GD? Bite me.

(It's currently 18 degrees here).

Still haven't heard from the shop- I'll bet they haven't even looked at my poor wittle baby yet. It occurs to me that I forgot to take out the CD player and stuff, so Eric will have to stop by and lock it up on the way home from work.

Christmas stockings are up, though! Tori has four of them.

:D

Our really good friend told us tonight that she got together an emergency kit for her car in case of breakdown in the snow. It has flares, dry clothes, sand and blankets in it etc. I'm thinking that with that advice and this thread, I think I'll be getting an emergency kit together. We have AAA thank goodness.

:)

I'm so glad I have AAA- this is the second time this year I had to have my car towed, and it was completely covered. I sort of have a rudimentary kit in my car, but I need to go out and get a few more things for it. Provided it lives, of course.

USAA covers our tows. And WB: I don't have a temperature reading, but we've still got snow so I know it is officially Cold here. Roads better stay clear enough for me to get my haircut and brow arch tomorrow!

Better hope your stylist shows up!;)

Luckily, I wasn't too overbooked today, so I should be able to just get everyone in one of my days off next week. Btw, I called the auto shop, and they tried to pretend like they looked at my car. (The main mechanics were off today). "Uhm, we couldn't figure it out, so Larry will have to look at it". When does Larry come in? Monday, of course! I don't like driving any car but mine in the snow, so it looks like I'm housebound until then. Eric will have to do the shopping.

Don't forget some bottled water and some non-perishable food snacks - granola bars etc in case you're stuck for a while. TP too just in case you're stuck in the boonies and you need to make some yellow snow :)

Sorry!

I seldom call in sick or miss work if I can help it- it's just too damn difficult to reschedule people. I am booked out four months or so, which means I usually have to come in on a day off.
