In "Little Shop of Horrors" there's a very funny song called "Dentist," by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken. I'll bet you've heard of them. ;)

Now on the other hand, Gn2lnd's posts have the potential of matching his photo, though he would need to start or end each post with some reference to his corn cob pipe.

Those are just some suggestions ... I happen to believe your sailor man photo is one of the most clever I have ever seen. Bully.

*takes pipe from mouth, jaws remain clenched*
Why thank you, reaaallly I thank you, you must have a seat near me dear boy, what are you drinking - waiter, WAITER, get my new friend here a fresh drink - now, how did you ever get so clever? Reaaallly, I must know.
*reinserts pipe and leans in a bit too close, waiting for an answer*

Hehe.

silly update - got a call at 7:30 am - my oral surgeon is home sick with a peanut allergy - procedure postponed til Feb 8.

wendybeth 01-20-2005 09:34 AM

Saved- by a peanut! Okay, we'll schedule another Oral Surgery support thread for February 7th. Potluck, everyone?;)

Not Afraid 01-20-2005 09:34 AM

I just love the mixture of immediate relief combined with postponing real fear.

Well, it gives you more time to work on the DIsneyland Dentist theme. ;)

Gn2Dlnd 01-20-2005 01:38 PM

And this weeks can be about peanuts!

Actually, anticipating fear would be a good theme - ToT, Alien Encounter, etc.

mousepod 01-20-2005 03:06 PM

Anticipating fear... that's an amazing idea.
When we went to WDW and rode Mission:Space for the first time... well, there's a story there but I'm going to save it for the MP.

On a related note: since you guys have welcomed me so warmly and helped me out with your brilliant suggestions, I'd love to give the Lounge props on the 'cast.

However, unlike some of the big boards that seem to thrive on thousands of members, this place is cozy and cool, like one of Deb Parker's bars before the tourists find it. What's the vibe on that here? I could keep the thank-you's secret... maybe I could tug on my earlobe during the signoff...

Gn2Dlnd 01-20-2005 04:21 PM

I think using board user names is probably cool, but generically referring to "online boards" instead of specific names of boards. I don't have a problem with "online chat board member, 'gointodisneyland', thinks an entire show about the history of ODV would be swell." (please don't do that show)
Anyone else got an opinion on webanimity?
