Favorite candy: Rowntrees Fruit Gums

Everything else is just a distant second. Though I probably should exclude chocolate and chocolate-related candies, because I do like those, too. Okay Fruit Gums are by far the best non-chocolate candies.

Japonais, best chocolate bar ever. I'm rarely snobby about things of il like, but I gotta say...american chocolate really sucks.

Oh, I love those gums, all made by Addams. They also used to have a flavor a long time ago called "Teaberry" that was great. I found it in a candy shop in Laguna Beach last year.

One of my favorite candies are called "Goldberg's Peanut Chews". I grew up on them in NY and now, the Albertsons next to my complex started carrying them, much to my amazement. Good stuff.

I eat mine the same way!

(I also eat kit kits pretty much the same way).

Licorice Frogs.

I really DO love them!

And Teaberry is in the pantheon of great gums.

Currently I'm eating some "Jogger Gums." They're a gummi candy made in Germany. They're really tasty, even though they are shaped like sneakers.

OK, I really don't care for the gummi-fill-in-the-blanks, what ever happend to Marzipan?

And what is it about the Germans that make them want to make their candy resemble other household objects or foods?
