I love, love LOVE Innerspace. As a little girl, I was terrified to go on for the first time. My Mom had to convince me that we really didn't shrink. Like MouseWife, I thought that we miniaturized!

Once I finally rode, I was addicted.

My heart broke when Innerspace closed its doors. Bye bye, giant rainbow snowflake. :(

MAGNIFICATION!!

;) :p

I *heart* Monsanto.

My friends know that I'm obsessed, I love the site that Gemini Cricket linked. I received, as a gift, that guy's DVD of the virtual ride thru. And I have the entire ride loop on my Ipod. I love it.

Everytime I ride Star Tours, which is pretty rare, I picture Innerspace. I was too young to make-out on it, unfortunately (otherwise, stand by cowboy!) But it will always be my favorite. Always. :)

I love it. He really got it down to a "T". All of the atoms, all of the crystallized snowflakes. Even when you "disembark the ride", if you look "outside into Tomorrowland" you can see the Mary Blair mural.

If you turn out all of the lights, and focus real hard, you can recreate your youth.

God knows I've tried. And it really works. It's as close as I can get to a wayback machine. And I'm happy each time. :)

I think I'm going to watch the DVD and make out with Chris on the couch. I have to see what I missed all those times. ;)

One of my big weirdo things about Innerspace was that as a kid I would have sworn that ATIS was located where Buzz is now. I know it never was, but for some reason, that's where my mind remembers it being. I was 10, maybe I was overstimulated to remember everything exactly as it was.
:)

There's the new name for it: Riding the Microscope!

You must spread some Mojo around before giving it to Gemini Cricket again.

Okay, I'll buy it! You've sold me!

I, too, was one of those kids that thought I became as small as an atom! Course years later I was a regular on the "Adventures Thru Inter Course" ride! LOL

You know, there's a lot of things that I could say and I just can't say these things at the expense of my husband. Why I have a sudden sense of decorum, I don't know. Don't expect it to last though. ;)

Yes, fella's generally take umbrage at sexual exploits with them being called "Riding the Micro anything." It's just not a descriptive appellation we prefer.
